Personal

I reside in Washington County with my wife Penny and our child, Mayson - a nine year old German Shorthair bird dog. We live on a former cattle and tobacco farm on the Beech River in its original home. We are in the process of transfoming the land into a Nature Preserve and enjoy the wildlife each day. We are blessed to live near our family, and many friends that we consider relatives.

I enjoy hunting, fishing and anything related to the outdoors. I have recently began to participate in the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife's Habitat Improvement Program which seeks to restore native habitat for the enjoyment of future generations.

We enjoy traveling throughout the country. We have visited many of our nation's Civil War battlefields and other significant historic sites, yet we always know that there is no place like home. I find my home within a short walk of the Perryville Battleground - Kentucky's most defining battle of the Civil War. Our state song really is true..."the sun shines bright on my old Kentucky Home!".
